Busy Mexican fast-food. I always order online and go inside to pickup on the days when I'm craving Mexican food for lunch. They have an unlisted salsa and chips bar that you pack and take for yourself. The salsas are perfecto! I enjoy the chicken enchiladas with red sauce without spice. Tastes very homemade and comes with side of rice and beans. The tacos are excellent and burritos look good too.

1 star down. They have been inconsistent with the tripe. Somedays, we know its been cooked too long or was from previous days left over. Just too soft sometimes. Also they dont fill the togo tub to the brim like they used to. Still great flavor though.

Came here late at night with friends. Was packed inside but still got my order decently fast. Overall the taco was good tasting, decent portions for the price. Easy parking in the plaza. I love how juicy the meat with the taco.

I've always loved Taqueria Extra; it's my go-to for Mexican food. They recently added Quesabirria y Consome and holy moly, it is insanely good!! The Consome isn't too salty and is refreshing with a squeeze of lemon. The mix of carne asada, cheese, cilantro, and onions in the tacos + Consome is literally *chefs kiss* to me. Only downsides are that it can get messy and the side of the taco that's on the plate gets soggy pretty fast, so I end up using a fork and knife. But it's so worth it!

They definitely don't skimp here. This is my second time at this location, and the food is always on point. I got nacho fries with carne asada (steak meat). There hasn't been any issue with service. I like that there's outdoor seatings. It is something worth checking out if you're in the area and are looking for a good taco spot.

Ok... so I've been coming to Taqueria Extra for some years now and they have become one of my favorite Mexican food spots. I only have 2 favorites. There's something that stands out about the chorizo. I usually get if I order a breakfast burrito or if I order a crispy taco (you gotta add sour cream to take it to the next level). Good selection in their salsa bar. I love their pico. I've even ordered the large containers for parties. Service- friendly. Even when calling in phone/pick up orders. My last order from them was menudo. WOW I love menudo and theirs blew me away. The broth had so much flavor. The amount of tripe that was given was very generous. Soup to tripe ratio- perfect. I ordered this to go and the broth was still hot, hot when I got home. THAT is how you're supposed to serve soup!

This is a solid spot for quality and portion, price, and the salsa bar. My fave is their carne asada burrito. I like their tacos, but they have to be eaten in-person for maximum enjoyment. They have a non-batter fried fish taco that is pretty good if you want to try something different. I'd love to come back and try more of their meats and even the shrimp taco.
